PLAY THERAPY
Traditional talking therapies do not meet the needs of children, the language of childhood is play.
Play therapy provides children with an opportunity to 'play out' their thoughts, feelings and problems in a safe environment with a trained therapist.
This type of therapy involves the use of play, creative techniques and media, taking account of the child's developmental level , dependency and emerging needs.
Play Therapy can be effective for a broad range of problems, including emotional difficulties, behavioural problems, learning disabilities, trauma, loss & bereavement, family breakdown, neglect, abuse, and problems with socializing.
